[0x01] Background
I am a Slackware purist. I'm the Linux user that other Linux users call weird. In an era of containerization and abstraction, I still prefer to compile from source and live within the shell. I've held the title of System Administrator since 1995, and since then, I have operated at every layer of the stack—from physical datacenter architecture to corporate infrastructure design.
Educationally, I'm rooted in Biochemistry and classically trained on the trumpet and piano (Rocky Ridge Music Center alumni). These days, that translates to being a self-taught DJ and a technical tinkerer.
Currently, I function as a creature of the night within the hospitality industry. While the world sleeps, I maintain the digital and operational pulse of the environment, leveraging decades of troubleshooting intuition to keep systems running in the quiet hours.

[0x03] Hobbies & Interests
Analog
Fishing (drowning worms), Botany, Hydroculture, Mycologist (the non-eating kind), and Vermiculture. And Beer, can't forget the Beer...
Digital
PlayStation 24/7. It's the most reliable way to find me in the digital void. I code in every language known to Unix-kind... And some that aren't.
Gastronomical_Interests
"I am far more at home in a laboratory with a Bunsen burner than at a kitchen stove. My approach to cuisine is experimental, pushing the boundaries of what one can—or should—do with flavor profiles."
Whether it's the molecular complexity of Clarified Milk Punch or the reliability of a Guinness-soaked Corned Beef Brisket, I treat taste and smell as primary inputs for high-fidelity sensory enjoyment. I am a student of regional chemistry, chasing specific specialties across the map.
Molecular_Interests
"I have a problem... Nature gave me an endocannabinoid system, but my body can't produce enough cannabinoids on its own to satisfy it..."
[0x04] Cosmopolitan_Travel
A dual-citizen (Irish/American) world traveler with a deep-seated love for the Great American Road Trip. I prefer the steel of Amtrak or the open highway over airports—airports are full of... people.
